Dashawn’s mother, Sherrie Harris, was incarcerated for 10 years at Hazelton Peni…

Dashawn’s mother, Sherrie Harris, was incarcerated for 10 years at Hazelton Penitentiary in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia. Pictured here on a bunk bed in the family’s apartment in Capitol Heights, MD, Dashawn said that he wants to become “Superman” so that he can “fly over the big wall” that separated him from his mother. To Dashawn’s delight, Sherrie Harris was released from prison and is now living in a halfway house in Washington, DC, and Dashawn and his two brothers, Isaiah and Demetri, can now visit their mother on weekends. Sherrie is expected to leave the halfway house this month, bringing the entire family together again.
